24th Annual Jazz in the Pines Festival
In collaboration with John Newman, and Marshall Hawkins, Ashley’s colleagues and fellow musician/administrators, Ashley helped plan and execute this nationally renowned music festival in its 24th year. This two-day event showcased 25+ bands across four stages, attracting thousands of attendees to the remote mountain town of Idyllwild, CA.
Boston Lyric Opera’s La Bohème featuring VOICES Boston
Ashley helped facilitate and execute a collaboration with the Boston Lyric Opera (BLO) for VOICES Boston, a prominent youth choir, during her time as Executive Director. This gave many young vocalists the opportunity to perform in a professional capacity at the Shubert Theatre and solidified VOICES Boston’s standing as the BLO’s youth choir resulting in future collaborations.
MIT Tinker User Tracer Human
Ashley planned and executed this Monday night lecture series, where international guests at the forefront of artistic innovation were invited to present their work to the MIT and greater Boston/Cambridge community.
MIT Future Fictions Summit in Reykjavik, Iceland
Ashley was one of three Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) employees chosen to represent them at a think tank in Reykjavik, Iceland. This three-day artistic exploration culminated in a showing at the Reykjavik Art Museum.
Southwestern Tribal Climate Change Summit
Ashely was tasked with helping plan, fully executing, and overseeing this collaborative event between Idyllwild Arts Academy and the Climate Science Alliance, the first of its kind.
Student Showcase Spotlight Series
Ashley conceived, planned, then executed this event series designed to highlight student performers while generating scholarship revenue supporting an overall goal of 3+ million dollars. It's subsequently become an annual event.
